This 1993 4.0 XJS was looking a bit sorry for herself when she first arrived at our workshop. She had obviously sat for some time on grass and there was moss growing in places on the car itself. The owner felt she deserved a new lease of life, so KWE were glad to oblige.

This car is an example of a classic bought for every day use and it has certainly done some miles in our client's ownership - almost 23,000 since 2009! It is also another example of an upgrade project spanning time as we have had it in our workshops at least once a year since it was purchased. Status: In Progress Gallery »

This car is probably the newest XJS on the road, having been completely rebuilt with a new bodyshell, following a meeting with the armco barriers at Brands Hatch! Although the XJS came off worse in the incident, the driver and passenger walked away from the car unhurt which just goes to show how strong and safe the XJS Convertible is.

This car is very much an example of a rolling restoration. We first saw the car in the summer of 2008 and the most recent works were undertaken in 2011....
