1989 TWR XJRS Coupe - Gallery Part 2
The TWR XJRS once belonging to Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones is now being fully restored. In poor bodily shape this car will have a full body strip, shotblast and lots of welding - but then it has lots of history!
The current owner wants the original body repaired and prepared to last, with fully rebuilt engine and new interior. Not for the faint-hearted!

Engine back from reconditioners. Both heads needed substantial work after the engine had been seized and corrosion had set in. |

Interior has been re-trimmed in contrasting 'Oyster' and 'Cashmere' with red piping. Centre sections are in perforated leather. Carpets are red. |

Interior finished. Gear knob and Steering wheel are re-covered in beige leather; seats are two-tone beige and cream (perforated in centre sections) as are door cards. Carpet is maroon Wilton. Woods are re-veneered in birds eye maple. |
