The Jaguar XJ and XJS are widely acknowledged as one of the most beautiful luxury saloon and all-round accomplished sports cars ever made. So, it’s no surprise that the team at KWE is always on the look out for challenging new projects to work on.
With our engineering expertise and passion for Jaguar cars, we’re able to offer a high-quality restoration service. Our aim is to restore all of our Jaguar XJS and early XJ saloons cars to a ‘better than new’ standard.
If you’re thinking of buying a classic Jaguar car and would like to see it restored to its former beauty then take a look at these two rather sought after 1970s XJC models we recently found on eBay. Both appear to be in excellent condition for restoration projects.
The first is a Series 2 Daimler Sovereign 4.2 Coupe in original lavender blue with a biscuit leather interior. While the second is a Daimler Double Six Coupe, a rare Jaguar XJC model, with less than 500 built between 1975 and 1978.
Once restored then all you’ll need is a bowler hat and umbrella and you too could look as suave and sophisticated as the late Patrick Macnee, aka John Steed who was best known for his role as the secret agent in the British television series, The Avengers. Steed drove an XJ-C 12, which had been given a Broadspeed body kit, extra wide wheels, metallic green re-spray and a beige leather re-trim.
